BNI Mission Statement
To help members increase their business through a structured, positive and professional word-of-mouth program that enables them to develop long-term, meaningful relationships with quality business professionals.
The philosophy of BNI is built upon the idea of “Givers Gain”. By giving business to others, you will get business in return.
Within this framework our goal is to educate members that networking is more about farming than it is about hunting; it’s about cultivating long term mutually beneficial business relationships!
Subsequent to this, BNI’s role is to better educate, guide and inform members in the process of developing word-of-mouth based business.

One Profession Per Seat
At BNI each profession has an exclusive position in the group. No other person in that profession can join the group until that “seat” has opened. For example, there can only be on commercial realtor in the group. Other types of realtors are welcome, but only one of that type is permitted.
About Business Connections
The BNI Business Connections chapter was founded in 2005. Our goal is to help our members be more successful in business in the Tampa Bay Area… it’s really that simple.
What makes us different from other business networking groups is our commitment to success. Members are required to attend each meeting and highly encouraged to not only drive business to each other, but to continue their education on how to be a successful networker.
